Attention Voters
Not all of the races or candidates listed will appear on all ballots in the county, in the manner posted, as some candidates are elected only by district and some candidate races require rotation.
The courthouse is now a polling place for early voters. Registered voters may vote at the County Clerk’s Office anytime during office hours from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. through the day prior to election day.
There shall be no campaigning within 200 feet of the courthouse during this time, and all signs found to be in violation will be removed by the County Clerk.
Political Parties
Currently the political parties recognized in Nebraska are Republican, Democratic, Libertarian, and Legal Marijuana NOW.
Elected Offices nominated on a Partisan basis are:
President, Vice President, U. S. Senators, Member of the U. S. House of Representatives, Governor, Lt. Governor, Secretary of State, State Auditor, State Treasurer, State Attorney General, Public Service Commissioner, County Commissioners and Supervisors, County Clerk, County Attorney, Public Defender, Register of Deeds, County Assessor, Clerk of the District Court, County Sheriff, County Treasurer and County Surveyor.
